The Final Moments: The last delivery and ensuing celebration of the Sri Lankan team upon their Semi-Final win against worthy opponents Pakistan last night. That last one of Sanga hugging Mahela is probably my favourite.

On a more serious note, Mohammad Hafeez is a class act.

OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR MAHELEEZUS. Please bless us with another victory on Sunday and I will follow you to the ends of the earth.
In honour of Sri Lanka’s semi-final against Pakistan today (with the use of my new found gif-ing skills), here is Sangakkara’s beautiful face:

Ugh, right in the ovaries. Anyway, happy cricket-watching SL/Pakistan fans. Oh and for those that are curious, this gif was made from this lovely video about the time he sledged Shaun Pollock.

This one goes out to the large number of annoying-as-hell Indian cricket fans (you aren’t all bad though). I’d have to say they’re even sorer winners than Australia. Pakistan played admirable cricket under such pressure and India came out on top. If you’re gonna use the political problems between the two countries as a crutch for your claim that this win is huge and monumental for India, you are watching the wrong sport my dears. -_- Learn how to take winning in stride.
MANMOHAN SINGH INVITES ZARDARI, GILANI FOR MOHALI WC MATCH →
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has invited Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani to watch the India-Pakistan cricket World Cup semifinal to be played at Mohali in Punjab on March 30.In virtually identical letters to Mr. Zardari and Mr. Gilani, Dr. Singh said he planned to watch the semifinal. There is huge excitement over the match, and we are all looking forward to a great game of cricket that will be a victory for sport. It gives me great pleasure to invite you to visit Mohali and join me and the millions of fans from our two countries to watch the match,” he wrote, reports The Hindu.
GAME ON!!! This could really back fire on Zardari if Pakistan loses if he decides to go, but I’m hoping Pakistan will win the Semi against India.
Love me them Indians but my money’s on Pakistan. This is great news though. Cricket really is the worldwide olive branch. :)
