I’m a South Asian immigrant to North America and the only diner experience I’ve really had is at Katz’s in New York as a tourist so I’m completely enamored by diner/cafeteria-related things.The food, the homey-ness, generations of mainly white and black Americans saying they’ve been coming with their grandparents or parents for years is just incredibly charming to me.
