Triple Bypass Brownie: chocolate chip brownie layered with cheese cake, peanut butter, Nutella, and Rice Krispies.
‘Cause calories don’t count on the weekend.
My lips parted slightly as I read this. Also, second chocolate dessert post in one week. Diet is working.
This is delicious. I feel like one of those broads in the Lindt truffles commercials…just melting away. o_o
Sorry for another food market post (#sorryimnotsorry), but this one was too good to not post! I took these photos at the Bocqueria market in Las Ramblas, Barcelona. Going to Espana was food heaven for me, especially because all of the food is inexpensive, fresh, and healthy. While visiting Barcelona, it is essential for a tourist to visit the Bocqueria, Barcelona’s largest food market. It is filled with beautifully presented fresh fish, meats, flowers, fruits, and veggies. It also is famous for its candied fruits, 1 euro smoothies, spices, and chocolates. I loved it. It’s also in a very touristy area, not far from all of the best shopping. Coming here for a midday snack is the perfect siesta from a long day of Spanish touring and shopping… BTW, I would not consider Barcelona a fashion hub. Besides Mango, Zara, and the El Born area boutiques, Barcelona does have much trendy ‘ropa’ to offer. Maybe this is just my elitist Parisian-ness coming out, but the only quality I thought Barcelona was better at than Paris was the food. There’s really just nothing better than tapas for every meal.
Never be sorry for posting about food! *sigh* Those pictures look amazing and I’m sure they don’t do the real thing justice. I miss open-air markets. :(
